Hello, I'm Sam and yep, that's me in the picture! Sketch By Sam is a design and laser cutting studio based in West Yorkshire, UK.
Founded in 2020 as a project to keep me sane during the lockdowns, I started the small business as a creative outlet alongside my day job but it has since flourished into an independent online shop offering a whole range of quirky home decor and unique personalised gifts.
I graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2014 and since then have worked in the Fashion industry as a designer. My love of colour and maximalist design heavily influences my work. Everything that I create is bold, colourful and designed to put a smile on your face.
All of my products are designed using Adobe Illustrator and cut from high quality materials using a laser cutter. You can read more about why I started the business over on the blog but for now, if you're looking for some colourful homeware or a unique gift ideas, then you're in the right place!

All of your wonderful orders are made to order from my Yorkshire based studio before being carefully packaged and sent to you to enjoy.

We're frequent stallholders at The Piece Hall in Halifax and you'll also find some of our products in Northern independent gift shops based in Haworth, Hebden Bridge, Skipton and Harrogate.
