That's exactly how I felt when planning my own wedding, nothing stood out or blew us away and we struggled to find quality wedding decorations which weren't covered in frills, lace and hessian. We knew we wanted something personal and untraditional to match our colourful and casual wedding day, so I got to designing and made everything myself.
I'm Sam, creator of Sketch By Sam and just like you, I care (albiet probably a little too much) about all those little wedding day details. I'm THAT person at a wedding who takes more pictures of the table settings than anything else! I believe that a wedding should be exactly what you want as a couple and your choice in theme and decorations should reflect this which is why I feel very privileged and excited when I'm given the opportunity to create unique wedding decor.
I can design and create exactly what you want, and all of this can be done to suit your budget. I'll work my magic to make all of those alternative wedding dreams come true, whether it's a festival wedding, fiesta themed or simply bright, bold, and colourful, we can work together to make truly unique decorations that stick two fingers up to wedding traditions!
I'm sure you're probably wondering what it is that I can actually help you with? Well, it can be absolutely anything that you need! There's no minimum spends, so orders can be as big or small as you require, whether you just need a custom wedding cake topper or the full works including personalised table name signs, place names for wedding guests all you need to do is get in touch and we can start discussing ideas!
If you want unique and personal finishing touches for your wedding day, then you're in the right place! I encourage you to get in touch as early as possible to discuss your wedding decor requirements as I can only accept a limited number of bespoke design orders per year. With that being said, lets get down to business...
1. Research
Before you get in touch, I ask that you do a bit of research so that you can give me as much information about the day as possible. Get on Pinterest, read some wedding blogs and figure out what kind of wedding you want. Think about themes, colours, is it a small intimate wedding, a formal soiree or a casual and fun party vibe? There's no wrong or right answers but this will be a good starting point.
Drop me an email and try to provide as much information as possible. Tell me all about your wedding day plans and give me a rough idea of what items it is that you're looking for. From here we can arrange a chat if you'd prefer so that we can discuss everything in more depth.
3. Quotation
After our chat, I'll go away and work out a bespoke quote based on your requirements. If you'd like to go ahead with the order then a 20% deposit will be required before designs are started. Once designs are approved the full balance will need paying before anything is made.
4. The Exciting Bit!
Once the deposit has been paid I'll get to work and start designing your decorations. Digital proofs will be sent for approval and you will have a chance to make amendments before anything is made. When everything is made, it will be beautifully packaged and sent to you ready for the big day!
